THE VELOX V55 240GB

The Velox V55 240GB SATA III SSD features an 2.5" 9mm thick aluminum housing.

At the rear we see the usual SATA connector and four pins used for firmware flashing.

There are sixteen (not factory branded) NAND packages (16GB per die) used in the V55, eight on each side of the PCB (256GB total, almost 7% overprovisioning).

Here we see the PHISON PS3108-S8-I controller and right above that a single 512MB DDR3 DRAM cache buffer chip.
