Panasonic will use EuroCis to launch its new solutions for retail. The company will showcase a range of solutions of POS workstations, mobile POS, tablets, security cameras, business intelligence and audio-visual products, designed to optimise efficiency and profitability within stores and across retail businesses. Designed for extensive mobile use, the new Toughpad models offer retailers a revolutionary way to do business. Toughpad makes every store operations ease to manage, from staff training, inventory management, pricing and promotions tasks to customer service activities such as mobile queue busting, special orders and ingredients check.

The new Panasonic’s POS workstations are built to withstand harsh environments and provide lower total cost of ownership with all the performance that retailers needed. Ability to change easily between two different size touchscreen allowing for customisation to suit individual retailer requirements and the ruggedness of the structure ensures reliability and no stop operations. Panasonic has recently introduced the world’s first 360 degree security camera with 4K engine which will be a revolution for the retail market. Not just because with the new camera you can cover an area of more than 250 m2 whilst being able to identify a person, but also because the new camera will have analytics embedded. The new analytics designed specifically for retail include heat mapping, to easily detect the hot spots of the store and where people stay longer; people counting with up to 12 bi-directional line; and the unique moving object remover which remove all the movement of the image and being very easy to monitor the shelves and stock. The latest analytics integrated on the new camera complete the current Face Analytic solution with people counting and age and gender statistics.
