RadiForce RX840-MGEizo Nanao Corporation (TSE: 6737) today announced it will introduce the 36.4-inch RadiForce RX840-MG, an industry first multi-modality color widescreen monitor which received FDA 510(k) clearance for mammography and general radiography from the U.S Food and Drug Administration, at RSNA 2012.

Due to the advancement of modality systems in the medical field, a huge variety and amount of medical images are being created. This has brought an accompanying need for medical imaging monitors that can handle multiple modalities and display many types and large quantities of medical images.

Within its 36.4-inch screen size, the RX840-MG is capable of displaying 8 megapixels (super-high-resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels) of information volume without obtrusive bezels. Therefore, the RX840-MG is not only capable of displaying magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound images, but also digital mammography images where high performance is required. Multi-modality color monitors that display multiple medical images all on one unobstructed screen simultaneously will streamline the radiology workflow and enhance efficiency.

EIZO will show this new model at RSNA 2012 (98th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America) to be held from November 25th to 29th in Chicago, Illinois, USA at the McCormick Place. EIZO will be located in Hall A, Booth #3821.

See product page for more details.
