ASUS and ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced that 16 of the company’s products have been named a CES® 2021 Innovation Awards Honoree for demonstrating outstanding innovation, engineering and functionality, aesthetic and design within the consumer technology realm.
ASUS Innovations Awards honorees include the ZenBook Pro 15 and ZenBook Flip 15 in addition to ROG Phone 3, ROG MAXIMUS XII Extreme, ROG Strix XG16, ROG Swift PG32UQX, ROG Falchion, and ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad. An additional eight ASUS CES 2021 Innovation Awards honorees will be unveiled during CES 2021. The award wins underscore the ASUS commitment to delivering incredible consumer experiences through consummate design and innovation.
The CES Innovation Awards program, owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, is an annual competition honoring outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products across 28 product categories. An elite panel of industry expert judges, including members of the media, designers, engineers and more, reviewed submissions based on innovation, engineering and functionality, aesthetic and design. The announcement was made ahead of the first-ever, all-digital CES 2021, one of the world’s most influential technology events, happening Jan. 11–14, 2021.

ROG MAXIMUS XII Extreme The ROG MAXIMUS XII Extreme’s claim to the Z490 motherboard throne stems from its ability to artfully dissipate the thermals of a fully stacked, high-end rig. Temperatures of core and secondary power regulators are managed by a large array of heatsinks anchored to a metal shroud providing additional mass and surface area. Underneath, there’s an 8-phase VRM comprised of sixteen TDA21490 power stages (90 amps each) paired with suitably specified SA and IO regulators to tackle any CPU that graces the platform.

ROG Strix XG16 ROG Strix XG16 is a 15.6-inch companion gaming display with power and video signals supplied over USB Type-C, plus another HDMI port for high compatibility across various game platforms so users can pair the XG16 to PCs, phones and console machines. The built-in battery design allows it to work for up to three hours without worrying about an external power supply. The ergonomically designed kickstand supports multiple angles and enables a small footprint with either portrait or landscape orientations, so it’s extremely flexible to game on, without boundaries. ROG Falchion ROG Falchion is a 65% form-factor wireless mechanical keyboard designed to change the way gamers play. It has an interactive touch panel and innovative two-way cover case, and it’s the first ROG keyboard with wireless Aura Sync RGB lighting. The keys feature durable ROG polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) doubleshot keycaps and German-made Cherry MX RGB mechanical switches for precise, tactile keystrokes. The ROG Falchion utilizes a gaming-grade 2.4 GHz RF connection for a 1 ms report rate and offers up to 450 hours of battery life on a single charge.

ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad provides the ultimate immersive mobile gaming experience due to its modular design that creates new ways to play. The Kunai 3 offers the familiar feel and controls of a console controller on a mobile phone, whether used independently in Gamepad mode or when docked and used in Handheld mode. With its USB-C® connection to ROG Phone 3, gamers can even experience fluid, fast-paced gaming with near-zero latency.
