ASUS today announced that ProArt Display PA147CDV won a Bronze award in the consumer technology category at the IDEA (International Design Excellence Awards) 2022 Ceremony held in Seattle, Washington. An international jury reviewed products across five criteria: design innovation, benefit to user, benefit to client / brand, benefit to society, and appropriate aesthetics. These criteria reflect the ASUS commitment to continually deliver incredible experiences that enhance the lives of people everywhere.

ASUS creates innovations that bring delight to the way people communicate, game, learn, create, innovate, and much more. These experiences touch peoples’ lives in many ways and open up a world of possibilities.

Designed with creators in mind, the portable ProArt Display helps streamline the creative process. Approximately the size of a standard keyboard, this color-accurate 32:9 aspect display serves as an extended screen for apps and toolbars. It includes the virtual ASUS Dial and ASUS Control Panel to provide users with comprehensive controls that enable them to work seamlessly with supported Adobe® Creative Suite apps. In addition, a physical dial at the base of the display offers precise control and tactile feedback.

Along with ASUS ProArt Display PA147CDV, two other products made it to the finals of this prestigious award: the recently released, highly‑innovative ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED (UX9702), the world’s first 17-inch foldable laptop[i]; and the ASUS PureGO PD100 fruit and vegetable cleanliness detector, bringing laboratory-grade food safety testing into the home and protecting it from pesticides and other pollutants thanks to its advanced optical-detection technology.

The International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) is one of the longest running and most prestigious design awards, with 2022 marking its 42nd anniversary. Organized by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), IDEA sets the benchmark for what a design award represents, highlighting design in many connected disciplines, including design strategy, branding, digital interaction, and much more.
