EIZO Corporation (TSE: 6737) today announced the release of the FlexScan EV2410R – a 24.1-inch WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) monitor for business and other applications. It is the successor model to the FlexScan EV2456, continuing to meet the versatile and long-term supply needs of various organizations. The EV2410R is designed with improved energy efficiency, making it ideal for organizations prioritizing sustainability and energy conservation.
With sustainability gaining more significance in the modern landscape, organizations are urged to make well-informed decisions when procuring new technology. The EV2410R consumes just 8 watts of power, representing a 27% reduction compared to its predecessor. This substantial decrease helps users to lower energy costs and contributes to a smaller carbon footprint, supporting sustainability efforts.
The EV2410R is certified by comprehensive global sustainability standards, including TCO Certified, generation 10 and the ENERGY STAR® label. It has also achieved the highest tier of EPEAT Gold and the EPEAT Climate+ designation, further highlighting EIZO’s commitment to sustainability. ¹
The monitor’s housing is made of more than 50% recycled plastic, promoting the reduction of plastic waste, conservation of resources, and reuse of materials. Its packaging and cushioning are also made from recycled materials to minimize environmental impact.
EIZO offers corporate customers a collective packaging option to support sustainability goals. Four monitors are packaged in a single box, while the stands are packaged separately or can be excluded upon request. This approach minimizes waste, improves loading efficiency during shipping, and streamlines unpacking and installation time.
