beyerdynamic is expanding its renowned PRO series with new over-ear headphones that deliver professional studio sound to a wide audience. The DT 270 PRO combines a compact, versatile format with an attractive price point. This makes it an appealing choice for both ambitious beginners and experienced producers who enjoy creating on the go.
A genuine beyerdynamic – at an entry-level price
The DT 270 PRO opens the door to the world of professional studio headphones. Although priced at under € 100, it retains the typical characteristics of the popular PRO series: authentic studio sound, exceptional wearing comfort, and a scope of delivery rarely seen at this price. A clear example of this is the replaceable velour ear pads, comfortable and unique to beyerdynamic’s PRO range.
Compared with other PRO models, the DT 270 PRO features a more compact and adaptable design – ideal for flexible production conditions and changing locations. The cable can be connected on either side, and thanks to the supplied USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter, the headphones are also compatible with mobile devices, such as smartphones or tablets. With an impedance of 45 ohms and a low weight of just 194 grams, they are a truly portable companion. A high-quality carrying case is also included.
PRO-level sound and quality of materials
Whether used for music production, podcast recording, or instrument practice, the DT 270 PRO delivers a balanced, detailed studio-level sound profile. Developed according to the latest acoustic standards and optimised and refined through user feedback, its sound signature combines clear but unobtrusive bass, natural mids, and detailed yet pleasantly smooth highs.
True to beyerdynamic's high standards, the DT 270 PRO is also built to last. The spring steel construction inside the padded headband ensures a secure yet comfortable fit. Flexible and lightweight, it provides the comfort needed for long, focused sessions. The robust housing is designed to withstand frequent and intensive use.
