Thermaltake, a leading PC DIY brand for premium hardware solutions, is accelerating into CES 2026 with an expanded sim racing portfolio built on experience and a strong foundation in immersive gaming. This year’s showcase strengthens the Thermaltake sim racing concept by offering a broader ecosystem, greater modularity and more choices for racers of all levels.
At CES 2026, Thermaltake introduces three new cockpits designed for different racing styles and user scenarios: the GR900 Racing Simulator Cockpit, the GR700 Racing Simulator Cockpit, and the GK500 Go Kart Simulator Cockpit. Together, these additions reinforce Thermaltake’s commitment to making sim racing more accessible, customizable, and deeply immersive. All three cockpits integrate seamlessly with Thermaltake’s rapidly growing lineup of sim racing gear, including the GM5 3DOF Motion System, XRW-G1 GT Steering Wheel, XRP-L1 Loadcel Pedal Set, and more.
GR900: Wide Display, Professional Racing Platform That Moves with You
The GR900 takes racing realism to the next level. Its rigid anodized aluminum profile structure delivers rock-solid stability, while the modular layout lets drivers fine-tune seating position, pedal height, angle, and cockpit geometry for maximum control. Every adjustment helps transform your rig into a precision machine built for high intensity competition.
Supporting single and triple monitor setups, the GR900 forms the ultimate foundation for immersive racing. The cockpit can remain completely firm for sharp, responsive handling or simulate the rush of the track by introducing motion that mimics braking forces, cornering shifts, and sudden elevation changes. Paired with the S700 GT Racing Bucket Seat (sold separately), the GR900 puts drivers in command of a professional-grade racing experience.
GR700: Versatile Racing Cockpit Packed with Motion and Style
The GR700 combines everyday comfort with pulse-raising immersion. Its reinforced race car inspired tubular steel frame provides unmatched strength, supporting belt drive and direct drive wheels along with a wide variety of pedals, shifters, and accessories. Every line of the cockpit is engineered for fluid motion, letting drivers feel every curve and acceleration surge.
The built in monitor mount accommodates sweeping curved displays, while clean cable routing and subtle RGB lighting complete a visually striking setup. Strong motion support brings the track to life, translating acceleration, braking, and cornering into tactile feedback that makes every turn and straightaway feel real. For those seeking an extra surge of realism, the optional GM5 3DOF Motion System elevates the experience to true racing intensity.
GK500: Movement That Makes Karting Come Alive
Designed for both kids and adults, the GK500 brings authentic go-kart posture to Thermaltake’s lineup, capturing the fun and universal appeal of karting. Its ergonomic seating position replicates real kart dynamics, ideal for kart racing titles, casual driving games, or unique training routines.
With adjustable seating, steering, and pedal positions, the GK500 easily adapts to users of different ages and body types. It supports a wide range of steering systems and can be enhanced with the GM5 3DOF Motion System for a more realistic sense of motion and track feedback.
A Complete Ecosystem for Every Driver
The new GR900, GR700, and GK500 reinforce Thermaltake’s vision of a unified sim racing ecosystem shaped around user choice. At CES 2026, Thermaltake also showcases its latest racing gear.
XRW G1 Steering Wheel
The XRW G1 features a five-inch-high resolution touchscreen compatible with SimHub, complete with 15 customizable RGB LED light strip, 3+3 RGB LED flag indicators, ten RGB backlit buttons, three front rotary encoders, two thumb rotary encoders, front and rear toggle switches, and dual five way funky switches. Its aluminum clutch and shifter paddles use Hall effect magnetic sensors for smooth response and long-lasting durability. The body is built with CNC machined aluminum and a carbon reinforced nylon front plate for strength and comfort.
XRP L1 Loadcel Pedal Set
The XRP L1 centers around a high precision maximum two-hundred-kilogram load cell that delivers realistic progressive braking force. Its one-piece CNC machined aluminum frame ensures a rigid, flex free structure, supported by precision ball bearings. Pedal feel can be customized through adjustable travel, preload, and stiffness, with additional tuning components such as springs, dampers, and elastomers. Sixteen-bit resolution Hall sensors and USB C connectivity provide accurate, consistent input in a compact and cockpit friendly design.
The GK500 cockpit, the XRW G1 steering wheel, and the XRP L1 pedal set will be available for purchase in March 2026. More details will be shared soon.
