BLACK FALCON Team FANATEC aims to compete in the 50th season of the ADAC Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS), the ADAC Nürburgring 24h Qualifiers, and the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring with drivers Misha Charoudin, Steve Alvarez Brown, Jimmy Broadbent, and Manuel Metzger.
This all-star creator line-up brings together distinct voices from across sim racing and real-world motorsport, with a combined social footprint of more than 7 million fans worldwide. Misha Charoudin reaches a global audience through unique Nürburgring driving content. Jimmy Broadbent returns following a long-standing relationship with the brand, including Fanatec’s support during his breakthrough UK Praga Cup championship success in 2022, and Steve Alvarez Brown brings a background rooted in Gran Turismo content, creating a natural alignment with Fanatec’s officially licensed hardware.
Manuel Metzger adds elite-level racing pedigree to the project. Widely regarded as one of the fastest drivers on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, Metzger brings top-tier endurance experience and a proven track record at the 24-hour level. His expertise strengthens the team’s competitive ambitions while contributing invaluable insight to Fanatec’s ongoing pursuit of authenticity and performance.
BLACK FALCON Team FANATEC will campaign a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup car in Class AT (alternative fuel). Fanatec becomes the Official Sim Racing and Technology Partner for Black Falcon, reinforcing a shared commitment to blending real-world endurance racing with cutting-edge sim racing technology.
The team’s NLS campaign begins with Race 1 on March 14, 2026. The headline event of the calendar, the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring, will take place from May 14 to 17. Fans can expect regular behind-the-scenes coverage throughout the season. The creators involved will document their preparation and race experiences, offering a front-row seat to this unique crossover between sim racing and real-world competition.
Christoph Henkel CEO at Black Falcon, said:
“FANATEC is the perfect partner for us to continue writing this story — from sim racing to real racing. Three years ago, we launched a project to demonstrate how sim racers and motorsport enthusiasts can turn their passion into a professional racing career.
But this partnership represents far more than just a pathway into real-world racing. It enables the perfect virtual preparation for all our drivers on circuits around the globe — and the fine-tuning and perfection of performance at the Nürburgring.
We are looking forward to developing many innovative ideas together and to seamlessly connecting the virtual and real racing worlds. For us, this is the perfect partnership.”
Tobias Stelzer, VP and General Manager at Fanatec, said:
“We are thrilled to partner with Black Falcon and grow our relationship with Misha Charoudin, and it’s fantastic to be working with Jimmy Broadbent again, while also finally welcoming Steve Alvarez Brown in an official capacity. Together, they represent some of the most watched sim racing and motorsport enthusiast YouTubers in the world, forming a rare blend of on-track experience and sim racing passion. This partnership lets us connect authentic racing performance with a truly global community of fans.”
