Sony Digital Cinema has announced it is supporting Czech Republic’s biggest film industry event of 2013, Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF). The event, one of the largest of its kind is the most important film event in Central and Eastern Europe and will take place from June 28 to July 6. Sony will be supporting the festival by showcasing a variety of cinema technology including its new 4K digital projector.
Attracting film industry representatives and press from all around the world, KVIFF 2013 is a key event in the European cinema industry calendar. Guests at this year’s show will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the immersive quality of 4K technology, with a number of studios, distributors and Sony partners showing 2D content using Sony’s SRX-R515 and SRX-R320 allowing event-goers to experience the very highest picture quality and viewer experience.
