Continuing its long tradition of excellence in BIOS, remote management and network data storage innovations, American Megatrends (AMI) is pleased to announce its latest round of patent awards. AMI has received an impressive total of 33 U.S. patents during 2012.
Notably, over 20 AMI engineers in collaboration across the globe were directly involved in the research and development of the patented technology represented by these awards. The distribution of these awards across AMI’s engineering groups highlights the team-oriented atmosphere that has long been a part of AMI’s global corporate culture. Additionally, patents were granted in all of AMI’s core technology areas, including BIOS and UEFI Firmware, Remote and Server Management technology, and Network Data Storage and Storage Management.
“I am extremely proud of the achievements of this year’s AMI inventors. Their success demonstrates that our core model of global collaboration is a strong and effective one. These awards also highlight the culture of innovation and teamwork of our company and the excellence and skill of our employees,” remarked Subramonian Shankar, President and CEO of American Megatrends. “My hope is that today’s announcement informs our customers and partners to continue to expect innovative research and development in the many fields in which AMI is engaged, and that their partnerships with AMI will continue to bear fruit for many years to come,” he added.
