Acer today announced  the latest addition to its projector portfolio - the P1273B and P1373WB projector  series designed to meet different usage scenarios. The  new Acer projectors come with built-in USB projection functionality, making the  office or entertainment truly
mobile. Packing a set of features designed to  deliver optimal performance and crystal clear images in any room, these  projectors make an excellent choice for SMB, SOHO, and education.

  With built-in USB  plug and play support, the projectors can instantly display movies, videos,  family pictures or games without using a PC. In addition, Office and PDF  Document Reader support means your office becomes even more mobile, as the  P1273B/P1373WB can project Office or PDF files via built-in USB reader without  having to use a PC.

  For users who want  more than 2D images, the projectors enable a great cinematic experience and  immersive 3D games. Just connect a 3D-capable gaming console, a 3D PC or a  Blu-ray Disc™ player via HDMI®.  The P1XXX  projector series provide excellent brightness (up to 3100 ANSI Lumens) and a  contrast ratio of up to 17000:1, ensuring exceptionally bright images and high  impact projection performance. The Native XGA or WXGA resolution renders  ultra-sharp images and great looking presentations and permits the reproduction  of high definition content.

  The projectors  offer a variety of video input support, for greater versatility. The HDMI® port  delivers uncompressed digital signals and multi-channel audio, providing easy  connectivity for high-definition presentations and entertainment. The P1XXX projectors  are also equipped with a D-Sub connector, allowing legacy video input for more  flexible connectivity and instant switching.

  The P1XXX series  support a +/- 40° manual and auto-keystone correction. This means  that vertical distortions can be automatically corrected, so that the image is  always perfectly rectangular, no matter where the projector is placed. The  series also feature auto
ceiling-mount correction, enabling the projector to  instantly rotate projected images by 180º to ensure the correct orientation when  ceiling-mounted.

  All Acer  projectors display images with vibrant colours. This is the result of Acer’s  unique image enhancement technology. Acer ColorBoost II, Acer SpectraBoot and  Acer ColorSafe II are designed to improve image quality, making colours richer  and more lifelike while preserving their fidelity over time.

  Eco-friendly features

  Acer’s projectors  come with built-in eco-friendly features designed to reduce standby power  consumption (compliant with 0.5W standby). With Acer’s leading ExtremeEco  technology, the power consumption of the projectors can be reduced up to 70%  and the lamp life can be extended up to 10.000 hours in ExtremeEco mode. Plus,  Acer ePower Management provides quick configuration of power management  options, including controls for ECO Power On/Off, High Altitude mode and Auto  Shutdown.

  Pricing and Availability

  The Acer P1373WB  and P1273B will be available in EMEA starting in June with a suggested retail  price* of €699 for the P1273Band €899 for the P1373WB.
