For the third year running, Europe’s leading security magazine has awarded Sony with best CCTV product
Stockholm, Sweden – October 23, 2013: Europe’s leading security industry magazine, Detektor, has named Sony’s IPELA ENGINE PRO SNC-WR632 camera as its best CCTV product in 2013. The award was presented to Sony at the 2013 Detektor International Award ceremony, held on October 22nd at the SECTECH security trade fair in Stockholm.
A prestigious award
The 2013 Detektor International Award rewards and recognises research and development within the security technology field to create products that are innovative and contribute to advancing the security industry.
The International panel of judges commented: “Sony continues to deliver intelligent security cameras with stunning picture quality in any weather conditions”.
Sony has won several prestigious Detektor International Awards in the last few years. In 2012 its IPELA ENGINE won best CCTV product and in 2011 its hybrid cameras won the Best Product Award in the CCTV category.
