ROCKI announces that it will crowd fund the start-up of its revolutionary ROCKI Wifi Music System via the world’s number one crowd funding site Kickstarter on 25 November 2013. This is the second Kickstarter project in three months for the ROCKI team, after collaborating with Omate on the successful Omate TrueSmart Kickstarter which has started shipping recently.

“Crowd funding has definitely become the new way for innovative start-ups to develop and launch products in today's market. We see a level of engagement with users which would not be possible when taking the traditional approach. By opening the product development up to early adopters and consumers we are able to fine tune our product to meet the consumer’s needs before it is launched.” says Dennis List, Product & Marketing Manager at ROCKI.

Accompanying the announcement is the release of a 30 second “We’re Coming” edit, an upbeat and compact version of the video ROCKI will feature on its Kickstarter page. The ROCKI Kickstarter video is fully scripted and produced in New York, filmed and edited by ROCKI video team from the New York Film Academy. The video tells a story of 5 everyday people, with different socio-economic backgrounds and passions. ROCKI frees their music allowing each of them to enjoy music while they engage in their passion - creating street art, sculpting, making music, enjoying intimacy and partying. The vision of ROCKI to change the world, free your music by streaming music from every phone, to all speakers, for everyone.
