Synology^® today launched RackStation RS3614xs+, a 12-bay business grade storage solution with blazing performance, robust scalability and wide-ranging redundancy features.

It supports Synology SSD cache technology to further boost throughput efficiently while still maximizing its storage size by using platter drives. In addition, it comes with native SATA III 6 Gb/s support to unleash the full potential of SSDs.

Synology RS3614xs+ provides users with a rigorous foundation for their mission-critical tasks. Equipped with 8GB ECC RAM expandable to 32GB, it ensures data accuracy as well as superior performance. AES New Instructions encryption acceleration offers data security without compromising its performance. Built with reliability in mind, the RS3614xs+ supports Synology High Availability that ensures seamless cluster failover, and offers a suite of redundancy mechanisms including redundant power supplies, system fans, and network ports with failover support to maximize service uptime.

The RS3614xs+ is designed to meet enterprises’ needs for future growth in a virtual environment. By taking advantage of two RX1214/RX1214RP expansion units, users can quickly scale it up to 144 TB of storage capacity.
