Santa Clara, California (September 24, 2012) –  Marvell (Nasdaq: MRVL) today announced that it has received the 2012 Excellence in Delivery & Flexibility award from Cisco.

This prestigious award recognizes Marvell for not only consistently supporting upsides and other inventory redirects, but demonstrating proactive world class leadership in collaborating with Cisco in the areas of delivery and flexibility. The distinction was awarded during Cisco's 21st Annual Supplier Appreciation Event, held September 6 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

“Marvell delivers outstanding supply flexibility by maintaining best in class cycle time to recovery (CT2R) across all products, and also by consistently exceeding our expectations with an on time delivery performance of 99 percent,” said Roger Bhikha, Senior Director, Global Supplier Management, Cisco. “Marvell has demonstrated outstanding collaboration and adoption of the Global Hub Process, and we are pleased to honor them with the ‘Excellence in Delivery and Flexibility’ award.”

Cisco presented awards to suppliers in recognition of their contributions to Cisco’s success in fiscal year 2012. At the event Cisco celebrated the shared successes of its global value chain with strategic suppliers and manufacturing partners and reaffirmed its commitment to a strong, continued partnership that will further accelerate innovation.
