The German company euroNAS GmbH based in Munich has released its latest data storage product. The new OS for High Availability Storage Clusters (Failover Clusters) has been designed to provide high level redundancy for network applications with minimum possible downtime.

HA Storage Cluster operating system (product name euroNAS HA Cluster64-Bit) provides new possibilities for IT professionals to build storage servers for critical data on a network. 

Maintenance friendly with minimum possible downtime
euroNAS HA Cluster uses technologies that synchronize the Data between two servers in real time. Servers will automatically detect if the other goes offline and will take over the services as well as the network address of the failed server without requiring administrative intervention.

This functionality is critical for planned maintenance as well as for failures and crashes that inevitably happen in the computer world. A server in the cluster may be taken offline for maintenance and brought back online without interrupting connected clients.
