Intel® Extreme Masters (IEM), the longest-running global pro gaming circuit in the world, returns to the Bay Area on Nov. 18-19, where more than $500,000 will be at stake. Join millions of fans around the world and tune in to witness the best esports athletes compete on stage at Oakland’s Oracle Arena in front of a roaring crowd, featuring two days of epic “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive” (“CS:GO”) and “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” (“PUBG”) action.

The VR Challenger League – the first VR esports circuit created by Intel, Oculus* and ESL* – will also make its IEM debut this weekend, with the top competitors battling it out during the North America regional qualifier in Insomniac Games’* VR title, “The Unspoken.”

The Esports Industry Awards recently honored Intel as the Hardware Provider of the Year, named “PUBG” the Breakthrough Game of the Year, and awarded “CS:GO” the Game of the Year. IEM Oakland will bring together the esports industry’s best games and technology that fans won’t want to miss.

There are two great ways to be part of the action:

Watch the livestream: Viewers can tune in to the IEM Oakland livestream on the Intel Extreme Masters livestream page beginning at 10 a.m. PT, Saturday, Nov. 18, to see the action as it happens, featuring “CS:GO,” “PUBG” and VR Challenger League competitions across Nov. 18-19. More team and tournament details can be found on the Intel Extreme Masters schedule page.

Attend the IEM Expo: In addition to the esports competition, the IEM Expo will feature a massive interactive show floor where attendees can get hands on with the latest esports and gaming technology powered by Intel. At IEM Oakland, Intel® Core™ i7 and i9 processors will bring to life the latest Windows Mixed Reality, VR and PC gaming experiences, including “The Unspoken,” “Project Cars 2,” “Evasion,” “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive,” “Assassin’s Creed Origins” and more on PC gaming systems from Acer*, ASUS*, Dell*, HP* and Samsung*.

Following IEM Oakland, Season 12 continues on to two final events in PyeongChang, South Korea, in February 2018 and the World Championships in Katowice, Poland, from March 2-4, 2018.
