Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, unveiled its CloudPower data center energy solution at GITEX 2012. Featuring high performance and "modularization", the new CloudPower data center energy solution supports global enterprises in building and operating scalable, easy-to-manage and cost-effective data centers to address the challenges brought about by the rise of cloud computing.
Building on Huawei's existing data center energy solution, the new CloudPower solution incorporates improvements in multiple technical areas to further enhance performance and competitiveness. Such as IDS1000 products, it fetures

In addition to CloudPower, Huawei will also be showcasing its portfolio of innovative data center solutions at GITEX, including the micro data center and all-in-one container data center. These solutions have been deployed by enterprise customers around the world, including Guatemala MIC cloud IDC, Togo Lome University, E-Gov of Guyana government, Megapolis of Russia, e-government of Ghana, Brazilian Petroleum, McKinsey University, Hong Kong Airlines, India NxtGen, Maldives smart government, etc.
In the first half of 2012, Huawei recorded revenue of over US$115 million in data center energy solutions, and full-year sales revenue is expected to exceed US$250 million. Huawei has also received strong customer interest for the container data center and expects orders of over 100 units in 2012.
