CONCLUSION
The PowerShare Reactor 5.1 Amp Multi-Device Charger by CHIL is certainly not a breakthrough but it's quite small, can be placed on your desk, looks nice, uses a very small power plug so it doesn't take much room when plugged on a surge protector, has 4 USB charging ports (3x1A/1x2.1A) and can be moved around easily since the power cord can be stored inside. The only thing I’d like to see are more than just 4 USB charging ports since for people such as i who have at least 3 smartphones, 2 tablets and several hands-free devices (not to mention the portable batteries we have here) this could come in handy. A thinner power cord would also be nice to see but I’m sure CHIL had their reasons for using this one instead (perhaps because it gets stored inside the device they chose it to be more durable).
With a current price tag set at USD43.74 inside the USA (Amazon.com) the CHIL PowerShare Reactor 5.1 Amp Multi-Device Charger isn't what I’d call cheap but considering that we've seen many dual USB charging port solutions in the past that ask for over half as much i can't say that it's not worth the extra bucks. Of course if you don't need 4 USB charging ports then i see no reason to spend this much but if you do there aren't really many other products in the market that can compete with the CHIL PowerShare Reactor 5.1 Amp Multi-Device Charger and that's why it comes highly recommended by us.
