eufy homevac s11 go review b

The very first thing I noticed when I took the HomeVac S11 Go out from its box was the build quality of its exterior which compared to the likes of the Dreame T30 or the Roidmi X30 Pro is clearly not as good (and the same also applies for the wall mount and the extra parts/tips). At the same time however, this means that the HomeVac S11 Go is more lightweight and that reduction is just enough to make it a slightly more convenient model. As for the suction produced by the brushless motor it’s quite good actually, not the best I’ve encountered but during the 3 weeks I did use this particular model it had no problem cleaning everything I threw at it from dust, candy and pet hair to flour, breadcrumbs and even small leatherrete pieces (my cats are having a blast with my new leatherrete dressed chairs). Noise levels are also ok when the HomeVac S11 Go is used at low/eco and standard/mid modes and only skyrocket when max mode is enabled (I doubt you’ll be needing this a lot however). As for the color selection eufy chose to go with it honestly wouldn’t be my first choice. It’s not exactly bad but purple stands out quite a lot (both versions have it) and at least at both my home and office/lab that’s not a color that blends in easily with anything.

One of the things I like about eufy is that they first and foremost target casual consumers with their products (they do have premium ones but so far not in their cleaning lineup) and so currently the HomeVac S11 Go retails for USD249.99 inside the USA (Amazon.com) and for just 145.87Euros inside the EU (Amazon.de). Yes, I was expecting a somewhat better pricing on the other side of the Atlantic but with all that’s happening now everything is more expensive. At the end of the day, I have no issues with the HomeVac S11 Go. Sure, it may not be the most powerful cordless vacuum stick I’ve used and in terms of build quality its enclosure certainly doesn’t stand out but at least on this side of the Atlantic is a great choice for not very demanding consumers and for that it gets the Golden Award.
