Whether you're one of those people who enjoys going hiking and/or camping during the winter or the summer there are always some digital essentials you need to bring along with you. Personally, I'm not much into hiking and as for camping I’ve only gone like 3 times in my life most of which i had a really great time (well, not all is perfect with such "hobbies"). As for the digital essentials i brought with me all three times those included a high capacity solar powered powerbank, rechargeable LED lantern/light, portable speaker and a pair of walkie talkies (just in case). Back then i really hoped i could find a solar powered powerbank which also had a built-in lantern but all i could find were models with LED torches (my own had one too) which well, they weren't nowhere near as convenient. Fast forward to last year and Sandberg did release one such model which made its way to the lab just before the end of the year.

Sandberg A/S is built on a simple belief: Making the channel and users happy today, creates a good tomorrow. Sandberg merges the dedication of a small family business with the power and backup from a 500-staff business group. Sandberg A/S is a financially sound business with annual two-digit growth percentages. We have been in business since 1985. Sandberg fully supports the IT industry channel, delivering only to distributors. Sandberg products are well known and widely spread in Europe, Middle East and a few other areas.

As its name clearly states the Survivor Lantern All-In1 10000 is a combination of a 10.000mAh (37Wh) powerbank, polycrystalline solar panel and an 80 Lumen LED lantern all three of which are placed inside an IPX5 certified enclosure (water resistant / -10+55 degrees operating temperature). Of course, that's not all Sandberg has squeezed into the enclosure and so we also find Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity, LCD display, clock, FM/DAB+ radio, two 7W speakers, 105 Lumen LED torch (1W), hand crank (for emergency use), SOS mode and an emergency alarm. All of these features make the Survivor Lantern All-In1 10000 a very interesting product so let's see if that's really the case.
