CONCLUSION
Portable power stations can be very useful at times, especially if you’re far away from the city where the electrical grid may not be as reliable. The same of course applies if you like going camping and well, a power station would be invaluable during such a scenario. On top of that as I already mentioned some people use power stations as UPS devices and even though that’s obviously not what they were meant for, they can hold their own. To be honest I was hoping for slightly better results when testing the S2000 since just 8 more minutes while testing it with the dehumidifier didn’t seem like a lot, but I can’t really complain about it. sole issue with power stations at least for me has always been noise levels and well, you simply can’t be in the same room with one, either while using or charging it (well, at least I can’t).
Currently the S2000 Power Station by Allpowers retails for USD999 inside the USA (Amazon.com) and for 833.60Euros inside the EU (Amazon.de) so it’s not what most people would call affordable. Price aside however the S2000 does what it’s marketed for and since it’s a very good power station it gets the Golden Award.
