hp v10 rgb 32gb 3600mhz review b

The Acer Predator Apollo RGB kits by BIWIN have been some of the best DDR4 kits I’ve used to date and more or less the same applies for the HP V10 RGB 16GB 3600MHz CL14 kit. Yes, the 1.45V stock voltage could be a bit much for some people (not to mention motherboards) but Samsung B-Die IC’s come second to none for demanding users, enthusiasts and of course overclockers. This means that not only you can easily hit 4GHz with CL14 at just 1.51V (just like I did) but you should easily climb even higher if you’re into overclocking. In terms of design, I really have no serious complaints from the V10 RGB kit, yes, the large HP logo might not look great (at least not for me, I do understand why BIWIN took this route however) but the 8 RGB LEDs on top more than make up for it.

The V10 RGB DDR4 kits by HP (BIWIN) were announced last month and right now the 16GB 3600MHz CL14 model retails for USD149.99 inside the USA (Amazon.com) a price tag which is clearly a tad more than what I was expecting. That being said availability is far from great so price could drop further after a few months (if availability improves that is). At the end of the day the HP V10 RGB 16GB 3600MHz CL14 Dual-Channel kit may not be the best choice for casual users but it’s a great choice for enthusiasts and overclockers who are always looking to squeeze as much as they can from their hardware and that’s why this kit gets the Golden Award.
