kingston fury renegade rgb 32gb 6400mhz review b

The FURY Renegade RGB 32GB DDR5 6400MHz CL32 Dual-Channel Kit by Kingston may not be the fastest one around but it does exceptionally well at stock/default clocks and on top of that it overclocks extremely easily. By easily i mean that i was able to hit a stable 7GHz with the default timings on the EVGA Z790 DARK using just 1.44V. Of course, this may not be the case with every motherboard out there (some may get worse results and some may get even better ones) but that’s always the case with most things that get reviewed. In terms of design i really like what Kingston has done with the FURY Renegade RGB. Yes, i have seen better looking kits but again, these come very close to those. My sole issue was with the FURY CTRL software which didn’t detect one of the 2 modules. This of course could also be an incompatibility with the EVGA Z790 DARK, whatever the reason however i do hope Kingston resolves it in future software versions.

At the time of this review the FURY Renegade RGB 32GB DDR5 6400MHz CL32 Dual-Channel Kit by Kingston retails for just USD177.71 inside the USA (Amazon.com) and for 175.99Euros inside the EU (Amazon.de), a price tag which is very balanced. Long story short even though this kit may not be the fastest out there it still offers pretty much everything one could ask for such as excellent build quality, very good default speed performance, equally good overclocking headroom and great looks so the Platinum Award is definitely in order.
