CONCLUSION
DeepCool may not be one of the oldest PSU brands around but thanks to their cooperation with CWT (Channel Well Technologies) they have released many successful models like the DQ750, DQ1250 and now the DQ750 EVO. Unfortunately they’ve yet to venture into the 80 Plus Titanium certified area (not the Platinum one, at least not for good) but any Gold certified model that performs as well as the DQ750 EVO Quanta is good enough in my book. Noise levels may not be the most “important” aspect of any gaming oriented PSU since graphics cards tend to be louder but regardless the DQ750 EVO Quanta does extremely well in that area.
Currently the DeepCool DQ750 EVO Quanta 750W 80 Plus Gold certified power supply unit retails for 126Euros inside the EU (Amazon.co.uk) and unfortunately is not available inside the USA (at least not where we looked for it). This is a problem we’ve had in the past with DeepCool so I hope they will resolve it soon. Overall we think that the price is right (it could be slightly better however) and since the DQ750 EVO Quanta offers solid performance with very low noise levels and many features it gets our Golden Award.
