From cars, clothes and even refrigerators to LCD screens, chairs and yes (especially) PC and console peripherals looks play a very important role. It's equally important however to balance things so even though i also care about looks i don't place them nearly as high up as other things, for example build quality, available features and performance. The ideal scenario is of course to have everything and that's not something we see a lot, primarily because of cost. Still there are some manufacturers which are doing their very best to design and develop products that have a good balance between all of the above and i-Rocks claims to have done just that with their latest K71M RGB Illuminated Mechanical Keyboard.

i-Rocks Technology is founded in Taiwan started from manufacturing OEM products for various technology companies. From then onwards, i-Rocks has established its own brand name, designing and producing IT-related peripherals and accessories for the everyday IT user. Since then, i-Rocks has come a long way since the start of its branding. As the new generation of users are demanding products of higher quality at better value, we needed to push ourselves in the R&D department to exceed expectations of the modern day users. Currently, i-Rocks is focused on manufacturing and providing heavy IT users e.g. professional and casual gamers, IT workers, and gadget fans their required equipment.

I-Rocks currently makes the K71M RGB Illuminated Mechanical Keyboard available in two colors (black & pink) and has equipped it with Outemu RGB mechanical switches (blue & brown - 50 million actuations), sound-absorbing pad, programmable smart clickable aluminum wheel (very similar to a mouse scroll wheel), RGB LED bars on all sides, per-key RGB illumination (27 effects), detachable USB-c cable, tri-stage feet, 100% anti-ghosting, NKRO (N-Key Rollover) and the somewhat typical 1000Hz polling rate. I-Rocks also has a handy control software from where you can program every single one of the 107 keys found on the K71M, create macros and of course choose an RGB effect or create your very own. This is the very first product I’ve received by i-Rocks so without further delay let's get close and personal with it.
