fnatic gear rush g1 silentb

The RUSH G1 Silent is a no-thrills mechanical gaming keyboard much like several others we’ve tested in the past (including the SteelSeries 6Gv2 and even the HyperX Alloy FPS models) so from the get go it’s clearly aimed towards a specific segment of the market. It features very good build quality (although do keep in mind that it’s very easy to leave marks on its soft-touch rubber coating) and that along with the Cherry MX Red Silent switches will almost certainly appeal to gamers and even casual users who care not about RGB illumination and dedicated macro and media keys. Worth pointing out is that the Cherry MX Red Silent keys don’t offer the same feedback as the regular ones so do also keep that in mind (they were mend to be less noisy and they excel at that). The only thing we don’t understand is why Fnatic Gear didn’t use more effects aside the Pulse one. Sure that may had changed the entire concept behind the RUSH G1 but it could attract more potential buyers (regardless due to high demand I’m quite positive Fnatic Gear will eventually release an RGB variant).

While we’re wrapping up our review of the RUSH G1 Silent Backlit Mechanical Keyboard by Fnatic Gear it can be found for USD89.99 inside the USA (Amazon.com) and for 89.99Euros inside the EU (Amazon.co.uk). You also have the choice of purchasing the keyboard directly from the official Fnatic Gear Shop here for the same price as above. Overall we feel that the price tag reflects exactly what you’re getting and that’s a quality keyboard with Cherry MX Red Silent switches, 2 USB 2.0 pass-through ports, 4 backlit levels and a detachable wrist rest and although the RUSH G1 may not be the best keyboard out there today it’s still worthy of our Golden Award.
