INTRODUCTION

   When out in the market for a new gaming mouse two things always matter the most, grip (shape) and tracking accuracy (sensor). Of course, there are also secondary features many people look for like the number of available buttons, adjustable weight and of course RGB lighting but the most focus is always on the shape and sensor of a gaming mouse. Still even though the market is currently filled with a huge number of gaming mice by numerous manufacturers, old and new, not many actually offer what i refer to as the "wow" factor and this is where DREVO aims at with their latest Falcon Honeycomb Optical Gaming Mouse which I’ve been using for the past 10 days.

   Just like many gaming mice before it the Falcon model by DREVO comes with a total of 6 fully programmable buttons and is based around the very popular zero-acceleration PMW3389 optical sensor by Pixart that features a maximum resolution of 16000DPI, 400IPS tracking speed, 50G acceleration and 1000Hz polling rate. For the two primary buttons DREVO chose to go with OMRON switches (20 million clicks) and as for the housing as the product name clearly states they used a honeycomb design which not only helps keep your hands cooler and further reduces the weight of the mouse but also looks great thanks to the 12 internal RGB LEDs (6 effects). The product is completed by an ultra-soft cable which is much easier to handle compared to rubber and/or braided ones. So, let's move forward with today’s review and find out whether or not the performance of the DREVO Falcon Honeycomb Optical Gaming Mouse is on par with its looks.
