CONCLUSION

corsair ironclaw rgb b

We used the IRONCLAW RGB FPS/MOBA Gaming Mouse by CORSAIR for a period of 12 days with various game titles including Star Wars Battlefront II, Dreadnought, Resident Evil 2 Remastered, Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds and Metro Exodus (4A Games did it again by the way) and although we still prefer the M65 RGB Elite (its shape and weight system make it more responsive and accurate) we weren’t disappointed. Tracking speed is impressive and although it just doesn't feel as accurate as the M65 RGB Elite still the IRONCLAW RGB did very well in that area too. Gliding properties are also very good not only due to its very large PTFE feet but also because of its lightweight housing/enclosure. However, because of its lightweight enclosure the IRONCLAW RGB doesn’t feel as “sturdy” as the M65 RGB Elite with its anodized aluminum frame and that could turn out to be a game breaker for certain people.

The CORSAIR IRONCLAW RGB FPS/MOBA Gaming Mouse currently retails for USD54.35 inside the USA (Amazon.com) and for 48.39Euros inside the EU (Amazon.de) a price tag which places it right in the middle of many similar models by other manufacturers. That being said the worst “rival” the IRONCLAW RGB has currently is the M65 RGB Elite model again by CORSAIR which retails for around the same price tag and offers more both in terms of features and build quality (or at least it feels that way). Because of that although we feel CORSAIR should work on the price of the IRONCLAW RGB more in order to further "distance" it from the M65 RGB Elite we still recommend checking it out if not for the shape and weight of its enclosure/housing then certainly for its impressive speed and good accuracy.
