THE 12845 SPECIALTY

The 12845 Specialty Black Dial Watch comes with a high grade polyurethane band so it fits all hands (unlike bracelet ones).

Much like with most watches featuring a polyurethane band the 12845 Specialty comes with a large diameter case (45mm) made by stainless steel. The crystal is actually not hardened as one would expect but it's a combination of mineral and sapphire made by Invicta resulting in a far more resilient material (impact resistant as Sapphire and scratch resistant as Mineral). Also the aluminum bezel is stationary (for good or bad, depends on the use) while the hands are covered by tritnite (extra time length luminous material manufactured by Invicta).

The company name is also placed on both sides of the polyurethane band.

My sole issue with the polyurethane band is its thickness which may not be very comfortable for some people (you can always change the band).

A rather small Invicta logo is placed on the stainless steel buckle.

The rear case is also made by stainless steel and here you can find various information such as the crystal type used (flame fusion), luminous material used for the hands (tritnite), type movement used (Japanese Quartz), water resistance (100m/330ft) and case material (stainless steel).
