THE NEO IDSD 3

Measuring 214mm in length, 158mm in depth and 41mm in height the 916g heavy NEO iDSD 3 is identical to its predecessor, only now it comes in black color.

No matter how many times I see it, I think black is a much better fit for most home and studio setups.

Once again, we find the 2-inch color TFT display on the far left of the unit (auto-orientation).

The clickable volume wheel is located at the center of the unit.

On the far right we find the activity LED, 5 buttons and the 4.4mm and 6.3mm headphone outputs.

Taking a look at the rear of the unit here we find the XLR (balanced) and stereo RCA outputs, BNC clock input, coaxial, SPDIF optical, USB-B port and the power port.

The remote control iFi audio bundles with the NEO iDSD 3 (as with its predecessor) is one of the highest quality ones I've seen shipped with such a product. As for controls it has everything, you'll need to use the NEO iDSD 3 remotely.

If your setup looks just like mine then you'll probably want to position the NEO iDSD 3 vertically as seen above.
