CONCLUSION

spyra three review b

I ended up using both SpyraThree guns for a total of two weeks and for the most part they did great. Their weight is balanced so they are not hard to use even for kids, build quality is good, battery life is plenty (perhaps not for 2200 shots as Spyra claims but still more than enough) and as for power well they are powerful enough for most scenarios. Yes, you may never see the advertised range of 15 meters with the PowerShot feature since that's closer to 12 but even that is plenty for a water blaster. The primary issue for me was the somewhat small tank capacity which only allows for a total of 22 shots and thus doesn't last nearly as long as I’d like. I do realize that a larger water tank would mean more weight (probably also a larger water blaster in general) but for "older" kids such as myself it would be great if we could at least have that option to choose from.

The SpyraThree water blaster by Spyra currently retails for USD179 inside the USA (Amazon.com) and for 165.79Euros inside the EU (Amazon.de) so it may not seem as affordable for many people. Still considering its target audience (old “kids”) i don’t think price is a serious drawback. Overall, there’s not much more i can say about the SpyraThree, yes i would had liked a larger water tank but that aside it scores high enough to get the Golden Award.
