spyra spyragravity review b

When Spyra unveiled their SpyraGravity plans to me early last year the concept fascinated me, it was the first of its kind after all. Fast forward to today however and I must admit that the SpyraThree is still my favorite product by Spyra. This is due to 2 factors, 1st the SpyraGravity is way too large (not hard for me to use it but too large regardless - just check the above picture) and 2nd just 4 SpyraBlast water bombs is far from enough if you're playing with friends (stopping to reload even if you have purchased extra SpyraBlast water bombs is far from ideal). I was really hoping for either a horizontal or vertical (cartridge) reload system for the SpyraGravity which would allow for at least twice the amount of water bombs but that would probably further increase its size (and would also probably increase cost). That aside I really had fun using the SpyraGravity, especially when reaching people taking cover behind objects (or running away), something which obviously is not possible with regular water blasters. The load mechanism did get stuck a few times but out of the 300+ I used the SpyraGravity for this was nothing. As for battery life no problems here, charged both SpyraGravity launchers once since I received them and have yet to charge them again, so I have no reason to doubt Spyra's number. If I had to nitpick I’d like to see larger water bombs but that would mean an even larger SpyraGravity, can’t have it all I guess (still, I do hope Spyra makes a gatling water blaster next).

Spyra currently has their products for sale and so the SpyraGravity can be yours for just USD87.20/87.20Euros, a price tag which is honestly great for such a product. Yes, the SpyraThree is still my favorite model but the SpyraGravity does deliver (at least for the most part) so if you like the concept or you'd just like to try something new I truly suggest checking the latest SpyraGravity water bomb launcher which is also why it gets the Golden Award.
