ASSEMBLY
As always i started assembling the chair by mounting the 5 wheels onto the 5-star aluminum base.
The class-4 gaslift and its plastic cover obviously came next.
Tiny details but i like how the plastic cover "sits" on the base.
Unlike most chairs we've tested to date the EPIC may have a single green elastic band at the base but it also has a large metal plate at the center to increase support and durability.
Both 4D armrests come pre-mounted from the factory so no extra work for us here.
The height/tilt mechanism is probably the largest I’ve seen used in a gaming chair.
You will also need to mount the two handles found in the small cardboard box as seen above.
This is perhaps the sole serious drawback of the EPIC series since no matter how many times i tried mounting those handles they just wouldn't stay in place (once one of them even fell off).
Two screws are placed on each side of the backrest so you will need to remove them in order to mount it onto the base.
After that you will need to mount the two side covers as seen above and then place the upper body onto the class-4 gaslift.
