THE D40X

Each speaker measures 223mm in height, 179mm in length and 137mm in width.

These are relatively small speakers and to showcase this I placed one of them right next to one of the QR65 and S1000DB by Edifier.

At the front of the speakers (made of glossy plastic), we find the 4" full range drivers with nano-Kevlar composite cones and the 1" tweeters.

On the right side of the main speaker, we find the controls which include a mode change button, volume up/next track button, volume down/previous track and a 3.5mm headphones output.

At the rear of the speakers, we find their bass ports and in the case of the main speaker we also find the left speaker port, optical input, aux input, on/off power button, SD card slot, USB port and the power port.

Each speaker sits on 4 round rubber feet.

The bundled remote control may not be anything special, but it gets the job done.
