THE FLEXSCAN EV4340X
It may not be the longest monitor to ever arrive in the office/lab but the FlexScan EV4340X is certainly massive measuring 966.8mm in length, 571mm in height and 89.9mm in depth.
The feet are easy to install, just unclip the rear covers, attach them with the bundled screws and that's it.
The feet are placed 733.7mm afar and increase the height of the screen from 571mm to 631mm and its depth from 89.9mm to 225.2mm.
Unfortunately, since the bundled feet don't offer any kind of adjustment some people may opt for a wall mount.
Both feet are made of aluminum and are painted with a textured gold color.
The EV4340X sits just 65mm from the desk.
The top and side bezel is 10mm in thickness whereas the bottom bezel is 28mm thick.
EIZO has equipped the FlexScan EV4340X with two 4W speakers (8W total) placed on both ends.
Almost at the center of the bottom bezel we find the auto brightness light sensor.
Turning the screen around we find a very long opening which can be used as a handle and the Vesa mounts (100x100/200x200) which can be covered using the bundled cover.
Needless to say, you can also cover the feet with the covers you removed earlier.
Typically, at the rear you can find the product serial number and factory roll out date.
The available connectors are located at the rear and include two HDMI v1.4 ports, DP 1.3 port, two USB-C ports, RJ45 Gigabit port, USB-B host port, two USB-A 3.2 ports, 3.5mm port, on/off button and the power port.
Even though it's nothing new the remote control bundled with the EV4340X is probably the most durable I've seen shipped with any PC monitor.
